It’s been a great spring at French Broad Rafting Expeditions. The sun is out, the river is high, and the whitewater rafting has been amazing! The warm weather has enticed many new folks onto the river and has sent them all home with smiles. The spring has also brought back cherished loyal rafting guests (Lake Highland Preparatory School, we love you!), raft guides and staff we’ve been missing all winter. As we all know, spring is the perfect time for new things to grow, and we don’t miss any opportunity for growth here.
We launched a brand new website this week, thanks to our wonderfully talented friends at Asheville Web Fix (available as always at www.FrenchBroadRafting.com). We are nearing completion on a new deck at the outpost, nearly 1200 square feet of awesomeness! And last, but never least, we welcomed a new baby into the French Broad Rafting family. Co-Owner Mitch Hampton’s daughter Tasia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kira this winter – look for her smiling face at the outpost this summer. So please come join us at French Broad Rafting and be a part of what just may be our best season yet. Look forward to seeing you on the river!

French Broad Rafting and Ziplines is the only outfitter in the Southeast to use biodiesel fuel in all of our diesel vehicles.
