7 Reasons to Zipline in the Blue Ridge Mountains with French Broad Adventures

1.     10 Ziplines for Less than the Price Of 3?!

That’s right! Our competitor’s package of 3 ziplines costs more than our 10 zipline course.

2.     We are Close to Asheville – Only 25 Minutes Away!

Have evening plans in downtown Asheville, but still want to raft or zipline? Great! Our outpost is only 25 minutes from Asheville, and we are an hour from Hendersonville, NC and Johnson City, TN.

3.     We’re local AND family owned.

Support small local businesses! French Broad Adventures is owned and operated by the Hampton family who lives and works in the gorgeous mountains of Western North Carolina. Learn more about us HERE.

4.     Your Wish is Our Command.

There’s no such thing as a ‘cookie-cutter’ or ‘one-size-fits-all’ experience with French Broad Adventures. Our guides give you the experience you want whether it’s an educational field trip or a just-for-fun trip, we’ve got you covered.

5.     We have a Treehouse and Canopy Walkway!

Our treehouse is the only one on a zipline canopy tour anywhere around! Combined with our 100 foot-long canopy walkway bridge and it’s truly an unforgettable experience.

6.     Safety is Our First Priority

A safe trip is a fun trip. That’s why our zipline course has been verified by professional vendor members of the Association for Challenge Course Technologies (ACCT) to meet or exceed their requirements for Design, Performance, Inspection, and Operation. Learn more about our Zipline Safety Practices HERE.

7.     Added Adventure

You get a chance to rappel on our zipline course (fully belayed by a guide, of course) and we use hand brakes on our ziplines. Handbraking makes you a more active participant in your own adventure (much like paddling while whitewater rafting) and it’s much less physically jarring than an automatic braking system. A fun UTV ride rounds out the adventure!

BONUS! When you zipline with us, you are surrounded by panoramic views, spanning thousands of acres of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
