It was haunted for a cause, and it was the Halloween adventure of the year! This past weekend French Broad Rafting and Ziplines put on a fundraiser for the Asheville Humane Society, raising over $1,200 for animals in need. There were day and night time zipline tours with decorated tree platforms (complete with trick-or-treat candy), staff in costume (one of our favorites was the flying monkey), spooky sound effects and lots of “special guests” haunting the course. The night zips were especially thrilling, with guests experiencing all that excitement flying by them in the dark! Everyone had such a great time we can’t wait to do it again next year, and we hope you’ll join us.
A special thanks goes out to the volunteers and dog “ambassadors” from the Asheville Humane Society who came out to the event as well as to Asheville’s own Highland Brewing Company who provided the post-“haunting” refreshments. We hope your Halloween was as safe, fun and spooky as ours was!
