Thomas and Cara were the best! Thank you both for a fantastic zip with our group today! Both were great with easing us in and breaking the ice. One of our friends in our group wasn't very sure about doing it but Thomas and Cara really did awesome with keeping things light with jokes and just being very personable. Total blast! Thanks guys!
Amazing trip & Great Guides! The best group of people we could have had to share with us the fun & pleasure that this trip offers. Beautiful views, a group of well-informed guides who know & love the river & the beautiful surrounding community...and funny, friendly personalities too! If you are in the area and you want to ride the French Broad, these are the guys to do it with!
This was my 5th time rafting in North Carolina (first time with this specific rafting service, though), and I can say that our guide, Jim, was the best one I've had so far. Jim displayed an amazing level of skill and knowledge of white water. He was also very personable, and shared his knowledge of the region's history and biology. Jim was super positive and encouraging to everyone in the boat. I suspect the other guides are very professional as well. Seems to be a great rafting company overall.
If you're like me, you spend way too many hours reviewing reviews and comparing rafting companies....Let me help you, STOP! There is truly no reason to spend another minute doing research. This company is the real deal. The staff were all top-notch! and the trip down the river was a blast. Great lunch about halfway down the river. I strongly recommend the 9 mile run.
